Over the past eleven years, singer and composer DINA has left a deep and lasting impression on her audiences. She has performed at Paradiso, Oerol, and toured through churches in Friesland as well as across France. A versatile and intuitive artist, DINA travels the country with her performances and vocal workshops, always seeking genuine connection through sound, silence, and story.

From late 2023 to early 2025, DINA presents a collection of works drawn from the five albums she has written, featuring well-loved songs such as Humbled and Strong. Her most recent Frisian-language album and accompanying book, medisyn, form a central thread—an intimate reflection on healing, belonging, and the search for our own medicine in the broadest sense of the word.

The song Stoarje, created in collaboration with singer-songwriter Douwe Dijkstra, explores the quiet art of staring. For DINA, “to stare” is to look both inward and outward at once—an act of presence that lies at the heart of her creative path.

During her live performances, DINA weaves together storytelling, music, and atmosphere. She layers voices, natural sounds, and guitar textures into hypnotic soundscapes that invite the listener to drift between worlds—between the earth and the unseen.

In 2025, DINA’s artistry culminates in SEE, a multidisciplinary Oer Opera created in celebration of 100 years of the Zuiderzeewerken. Across six sold-out performances, SEE merged music, movement, and visual art into an elemental experience—an ode to transformation, resilience, and our eternal dialogue with water and land.
